Billford situation during weirdmageddon that after Bill gets the information he needs from Ford, he messes with Fords mind. Mainly putting huge gaps of well.. nothing in his memory. Enough that he’s not sure what he remembers is real or not. 

Of course Bill made sure to wipe out all the “unpleasantness” between him and Ford memories. Making it even easier for a very confused and scared Ford to turn to Bill for support.
