I’m a sucker for brainwashed high priest ford though and is there fic for this?? I feel like there probably is and I just haven’t spotted it.

Look I got a whole bunch of moods for this BUT a big one being…
High priest ford absolutely revering bill and just completely lights up beaming on the inside whenever bill does honestly nearly anything regarding him. Like he’s just honest to go so filled with light when bill does anything between just looking over at him to saying he wants HIM to be the one to spread word of him etc etc
And it’s just such a bright and full bodied happiness
…. then whenever ford snaps back to himself again he can remember and he’s just beyond sick to his stomach. It’d be different if he couldn’t remember and could ignore it nearly, but to have those memories and still feel the fresh remnants of how truly and entirely touched he was by bill like that again
It makes him just want to puke because it’s easy to say he’d never be so foolish again, but it feels like he never truly left square one because all it takes is just switching around some memories to make him just like that again. And it’s painful switching back and forth like that.
Yeah the art of it, I’ve seen! I’m not sure if anyone’s done fic of it or not though
